Andrew Warde has more than 40 years experience as a London Blue Badge guide, with additional guide qualifications for the City of London and for Windsor & Eton. He presents illustrated talks and walks in and around London, telling all about historic buildings, curious survivals from times past, or special areas of London life and the Thames riverside. These talks reveal fascinating aspects of London’s past and the people who lived there.

Secrets of Seven Dials
This walk reveals a lively area built in the 17th century with streets radiating from a pillar sundial. Hear about the fortunate rediscovery of a robe made for a warrior monk, the history of some 100 year-old West End Theatres, look out for demi-virgins and find a former leper colony.
Agenda
A guided walk through the area of Seven Dials, lasting about 1½ - 2 hours, with stops to explain its history. After years of industrial use many of the attractive old buildings have been restored in recent decades and the locality has undergone a modern renaissance, transforming the streets into a most appealing inner city area filled with many small fashion shops.
