From the opening up of China in the late seventies to the age of mass tourism, a journey through the length and breadth of China and through remote frontiers, along an ancient Silk Road and by jeep to Lhasa in Tibet; following Mao’s Long March and by train from Beijing into Siberia, with great river journeys and visits to historic sites. A long-time resident of Hong Kong has visited and photographed China for over three decades.

Meet The Speaker, Chris

Chris Forse is a retired teacher and administrator who spent 33 years in Hong Kong where he was also a sometime columnist and radio panel guest. He has travelled widely and globally and enjoys travel photography and self-publishing. He is chairman of a large U3A in the Midlands.
