Panto to Screen Tales

Talks - Film, TV and Radio; Talks - Biography

Event Description

Jim shares memories of being onstage, helpless with laughter with the full cast, unable to speak having been ‘corpsed by’ Roy Barraclough. He takes us back to the tears shed as he said goodbye at the end of a three-month shoot for a TV programme. This talk spills the secrets of surviving a long Theatre run and the joys and uncertainties of a perilous and uncertain profession. These are just some of Jim's stories of his time following his dream. A fascinating and touching glimpse into an actor’s life.
