A thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining trawl through the archives of the tradition of British Light Music, short and immediately accessible pieces with great melodies and harmonies, creating an overall mood of nostalgia. Familiar works by the great exponents of light music such as Eric Coates, Robert Farnon, Albert Ketelbey and Ernest Tomlinson are offset by a selection of more unfamiliar pieces, all with one aim in mind - to charm and entertain.
