David Lewis

Meet The Speaker, David

David Lewis is a local historian living in Selby, North Yorkshire. A chemist by training, and a teacher by profession, a decade ago he left the lab to concentrate on his love of local history. He spent the last decade investigating the Hidden Heritage of Selby, including working for 3 years on a project largely funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, and setting up a ‘pop-up’ town museum.

Preparing for the Event

For the best experience, you will need to have Zoom downloaded onto your computer. Please ensure you're connected to broadband/wifi rather than using your mobile phone connection (3G/4G).

We also recommend that pets are either calmly sitting on your lap or in another room, and any refreshments you may require are within your reach!
