- CAN I WATCH LATER? Yes! Sign-up and we'll email you a recording
Event Description
The conflict in the 1960s and 70s is commonly seen as an exclusively American debacle. And yet its roots lie in 19th-century European colonialism, and had its course altered by World War II all before the Americans even thought of sending troops into Vietnam.
The war would change America forever both in terms of its military and its society as a whole. Its legacy is still killing Vietnamese people 50 years later.
Learn more about this "war with no front lines" (General William C. Westmoreland) with popular Mirthy historian Jem Duducu.
- Duration: 60 mins x 2

We also recommend that pets are either calmly sitting on your lap or in another room, and any refreshments you may require are within your reach!
