I’m glad I found you. I said this to my wife - without Mirthy, my life would be far less richer than it is now.

Event Description

'mirth' means joy and laughter - let's turn that into action by laughing like nobody is watching – just for the pure joy of it and to boost your mood, health and resilience.

Join certified Laughter Yoga Leader Sylvia for this unique session, combining laughter with breathing and stretching exercises – this will most certainly give your Monday morning a boost.

Sylvia will facilitate the exercises. When we laugh, we release feel-good hormones that uplift our mood, help to combat stress and even relieve pain.

After the weekend session on Saturday 19th February, we will leave the room open for a chat over a hot (or cold!) drink of your choice, before heading off for the rest of the weekend.

  • Duration: 30 mins
  • Online Zoom event: Join from your computer, phone or tablet (a recording will be available)

Meet the Host, Sylvia

Sylvia has a business background and a strong interest in natural health and therapies, she has a foundation training in counselling skills (COSCA), is a Jikiden Reiki practitioner and a Certified TRE® (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) Provider.

When the pandemic hit she asked herself what the world really needs and concluded: health, joy and laughter! Laughter Yoga ticks all these boxes and she wants as many people as possible to join in – as laughter is contagious, in a good way!

Preparing for the Event

Dr. Madan Kataria, the founder of Laugher Yoga, once said:

"I have not seen anybody dying of laughter. I know millions who are dying because they are not laughing."

But as Laughter Yoga is an aerobic exercise, it's not suitable for people who shouldn't do exercises. Please refer to Sylvia's website for more details: http://www.laughforsuccess.co.uk/post/disclaimer

By taking part in Mirthy's Laughter Yoga session you confirm that you've read the disclaimer.

  1. Position yourself in front of the camera
  2. Wear comfortable clothing
  3. Bring a playful willingness to join in and experience the benefits for yourself!
