Esperanto: the world's easiest language

Talks/Lectures

Event Description

Can Esperanto, a language created a little over 130 years ago, be as rich and expressive as one that evolved naturally over the centuries? Can a language that is suitable for producing poetry, scientific literature and informal conversation also be easy to learn? In this talk Anna Lowenstein outlines the background and present-day situation of this fascinating language, discusses the reasons for using it, and gives a quick overview of its grammar and vocabulary-building system.

  • Duration: 60 mins
  • Online Zoom event: Join from your computer, phone or tablet (no replay available)
